A low ropes course is a quintessential part of outdoor adventure education! It’s easy to see why students love this activity—things are much more exciting off the ground!
What’s Covered
Students use communication, teamwork, and motor skills to navigate the ropes course. With safety top of mind, we teach students to work together to keep one another safe; students will learn how to spot each other as they navigate the course.
Lessons & Activities
There’s no better way to learn lessons like trust, leadership, and focus than a low ropes course. In contrast to a high ropes course, low rope activities aren’t high up among the trees, but instead about three feet off the ground. The focus here isn’t on conquering a fear of heights but instead is all about communication, team-building, and other social-emotional learning skills.
